Professional development opportunities
Mentorship and peer support

ROOTED IN PURPOSE
Our work is grounded in uplifting BIPOC families and improving birth outcomes for Black birthing people throughout Ingham, Eaton and Clinton County.
We believe every family deserves respectful, informed, and culturally responsive care throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. By investing in doulas, we strengthen the support systems that help families feel empowered, heard, and cared for during one of life’s most important journeys.
GROWING TOGETHER
What began as a mission to support newly trained doulas and the families they serve has grown into a community-centered collective dedicated to uplifting birthing people and advancing birth equity across the Greater Lansing Area.
Whether you are a newly trained doula seeking guidance or an experienced birth worker looking to connect and grow, Helping Us Grow Doula Collective could be a place to learn and thrive.
