Tabitha Weekes-Boyles
Hi, I’m Tabitha— A DONA Certified full-spectrum birth and postpartum doula, certified meditation instructor, and life coach. As a mother, my goal is to ensure every family feels genuinely "mothered," heard, and held throughout their childbearing year and beyond.
-
I became a doula out of a deep calling to ensure that no mother feels alone, unheard, or disempowered during her birth journey. As a mother, I know firsthand how transformative the childbearing year is, and I passionately believe every woman deserves exceptional care, unconditional love, and the confidence to lead her own birth experience. My heart is in serving our community—helping families normalize birth, trust their body’s innate wisdom, and feel truly 'mothered' and held every step of the way.

I maintain a intentionally limited client load each month (typically 1–3 birth clients) to ensure every family receives deeply personalized, high-touch care and full availability around their estimated due date. I am on-call 24/7 for my birth clients starting at 38 weeks, and I provide ongoing communication support throughout pregnancy and postpartum
-
We typically schedule 2 to 4 comprehensive prenatal visits in person or virtual. During these sessions, we build your birth plan, practice labor positioning and breathwork techniques, discuss postpartum prep and nutrition, and address any questions or fears. Beyond our structured visits, I am available via phone, text, and email throughout your pregnancy for continuous check-ins and support
-
Yes, as an active birth worker in our regional community, I am deeply familiar with the local hospitals, birth centers, and home birth midwives across our service area. I take pride in fostering collaborative, respectful working relationships with doctors, nurses, and care teams so we can work together seamlessly to support your birth preferences
-
Advocacy starts with helping you find and trust your own voice. During pregnancy, I help you understand your options, create a birth plan, and prepare questions for your care team. In the birth room, I act as an unwavering buffer and sounding board—ensuring you have time to make informed decisions without pressure, helping you ask the right questions, and creating a safe environment where your bodily autonomy and birth preferences are honored
-
From the moment labor begins, you can expect continuous virtual contact, steady communication, and guidance from me as you navigate early labor using the coping tools and strategies we practiced together. While my dedicated continuous in-person presence begins during active labor, I am always flexible and may join you earlier if extra support is needed. Once in person, I remain by your side continuously—providing hands-on physical support, guiding breathwork, offering emotional reassurance, and ensuring you and your birth partner feel completely grounded every step of the way
-
I use a personalized, holistic combination of physical, emotional, and breath-based coping tools. This includes continuous nasal inhalation and long exhalation techniques to ride out contractions, somatic grounding, guided visualization, positioning and movement, hydrotherapy, counter-pressure, and soothing physical touch. My goal is to help you stay present, trust your body's physiology, and feel completely supported
-
Yes, I work with a trusted network of experienced backup doulas who share my commitment to compassionate, client-centered care. While rare, if an emergency or overlapping birth occurs, you will be cared for by a fully vetted backup doula who aligns with your birth plan and values, ensuring you have seamless, uninterrupted support
-
Whether planned or unexpected, a cesarean birth is still a birth. If permitted by the hospital staff, I will be in the operating room providing quiet emotional support, breathing guidance, and reassurance. If restricted to the recovery room, I will prepare for your arrival, assist with immediate skin-to-skin contact, help initiate initial feeding, and support your physical and emotional recovery right away
-
I offer comprehensive postpartum support designed to help every mother feel nurtured and held during the fourth trimester. My services include home and virtual visits, newborn care guidance, feeding support, meal prep/ planning postpartum recovery wellness (including holistic nutrition guidance), emotional processing of your birth story, placenta encapsulation, and specialized life coaching to support your transition into parenthood
-
I view your birth team as a collaborative support system. I am there to support your partner or loved ones just as much as you—guiding them on how to offer effective counter-pressure, holding space so they can take necessary breaks, and relieving any anxiety they may feel. My presence allows your loved ones to participate fully and share in the experience without feeling overwhelmed.
